Majestic
Majestic Series explores my interests in broader themes of memory, displacement and reconciliation, and provokes the viewer to attempt a construction of meaning through the simultaneous reading of the text as well as the images. Merging a range of visual strategies of representation and intersecting visual signifiers, both real and imaginative, the images in this group of works resist the possibility for logical classification and project infinite possibilities of interpretation.
