Dream
Dream is an allegorical tale, a kind of roman à clef about displacement, memory, and my faith in the power of the visual image. The work considers the image as both a vessel for memory and a site of transformation. Here, the visible becomes a poetic language of mystery, occupying the uncertain space between reality and illusion.
Moving continually between analog and digital realms, Dream seeks to expand the boundaries of print media through translation, multiplicity, and seriality. Images are repeatedly altered, fragmented, and reassembled, accumulating traces of their previous states as they become something new. It is through this expanded process of making and remaking the image that meaning remains open and new contexts emerge.
